Holistic heath ally

A Londoner with the warmth of a northerner, I graduated as a medical doctor but felt that the traditional route thereafter wasn’t quite right for me. My professional background before coaching and Ayurveda was primarily in health & medical publishing, with team management roles and some recruitment experience in both corporate and non-profit settings.
I bring personal experience of going through the process of a late neurodiversity diagnosis, as well as a maturity, depth and sensitivity that has intensified through nearly a decade of serious meditation and deep inner inquiry. I spent a prolonged period of time in India while beginning a full-time study in and practice of its ancient philosophy, half of this in the Himalayas to train more intensively with my mentor. My belief in the need for compassion, non-judgement and freedom is so fundamental to me that I strive to abide by these inner laws of mine in any work I do.
I care about preserving the dignity and rights of people in positions of vulnerability, which has fuelled my long-standing interest and involvement in professional ethics throughout my career. My appetite for learning is voracious; I love deepening my knowledge and skills to support people facing challenges in this difficult, often heartless world.
When time permits I enjoy volunteering with children and young people who have additional responsibilities and/or challenges, for which I’m on the DBS update service.
